After approx. 5 km through the magnificent beech wood forest you come to a cosy small campsite.

The site is surrounded by woodland and lies right down by the Silkeborg lakes.
"Hjeilen", the world´s oldest paddle steamer, puts in at Skyttehuset,and you can sail to Himmelbjerget or Silkeborg.

We can accomidate 50 caravans and about 40 tents.
We also have 6 chatlets of various size all come with bathroom and showers.

We hire out canoes, rowingboats/motorised yawls.You can row out to the ´Paradise Islands´ and enjoy the sunset.
It is also possible to bring you own boat/kayak.

Several natur trails pass the campsite-so bring your trainers/cycle/mountain bike along for a more active holiday.

12 km. to Silkeborg city.
Only 75 m. to the old steamboat "Hjejlen" boat jetty, 10 min. from the Himmelbjerg.
