From Silkeborg/ Horsens highway nr.52.  turn off at Virklund, turn at Paradisvejen (over the only bridge over highway 52) follow the road 6 km. though the forrest then turn left to Slåen lake 2 km.

From Århus drive trough Ry road nr.445 straight out of Rodelundsvej (pass the sign to Himmelbjerg) turn right at Tønningsletvej (Himmelbjergegnens Efterskole) follow the road about 3 km then turn right at Slåen sø sign.
