Skyttehuset Camping is located right on Gudenå River between Julsø and Borresø.

​From the campgrounds docks and shore, you can fish free of charge. Anyone over 18 years of age does need the mandatory state fishing license, however​​ www.fisketegn.dk.

The highland lakes are known for their good fishing. Among the various fish species, you will find walleye, trout, perch, pike, eel, bream, and roach.

Rent a rowboat or a dinghy with motor here at the campground and try your luck on the lakes.

You also have the option of bringing your own boat.

Daily and weekly licenses for Silkeborg fishing association are available for purchase in the kiosk, such worms and fishing gear for leisure use.

There is also the option of freezing your catch.
